What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all payment methods supported by Stripe Checkout, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club credit and debit cards. We're also experimentally accepting Bitcoin; email us if you're interested in paying this way.
Do I have to provide payment information to sign up?
We only ask for your payment information when it's actually time to pay. Since the first month of the advanced plan is a free trial, we'll send you an email near the end of the month reminding you that it's time to set up payments.
How do I cancel or downgrade my account?
You can cancel or move to the free plan at any time; we'll issue a pro-rated refund. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org from the address you used to sign up.
How to I upgrade my account?
Email us at email@example.com and we'll change your plan for you. Even if you've been using a free account, you still get a one month trial before you have to start paying.
A records and not
Why is a specific IP address required?
CNAME records don't work on a root domain,
because they conflict with the
which are required for the domain to work properly.
We plan on keeping our IP address for the forseeable future,
but if it does need to change
we'll make sure to give plenty of advance notice.
Can people see my email address when they look at a domain?
No, we provide a contact form so your email address is kept private. When someone contacts you through this form we will send you an email with their message and email address, so you can start a conversation with them.
Can I hide my email address when responding to a message?
We only handle the initial contact; to respond to an offer you'll need to use your own email address. You can, of course, respond from any email address you wish, including one you have set up specifically for the purpose.
Selling Your Domain
How do I sell my domain when someone sends an offer?
When someone is interested in your domain they'll send you a message using the contact form. You'll get an email with their message, and can then start a conversation with them to negotiate a final price and payment method.
Do you provide payment or escrow services? Do you charge anything when my domain sells?
We only provide hosting for your parking page; selecting a payment provider and handling the domain transfer is up to you and your buyer. On the other hand, we also only charge you for hosting, so you don't have to pay anything when your domain sells.
